Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students bring incredible energy to every physical education class, but as our gear ages through daily use, we are running out of supplies to keep everyone active. This inaugural resupply project will directly refresh our gym floor with essential, durable resources. We will use the floor spots to help younger students practice spacing, boundary awareness, and designated station rotations. The bean bags will support hand-eye coordination drills, target practice, and collaborative relay games. Finally, the hoops will give our students endless ways to build core strength and agility through hula-hooping, jump targets, and obstacle courses. With these simple additions, we can ensure every child has their own equipment to move, play, and thrive without missing a beat!
