I teach in a Title 1 poverty school where every student receives free breakfast and lunch. I'm the general education teacher in an inclusion classroom. Although we have been online for half of the school year, my students continue to have a positive attitude and log-in every morning with a smile on their faces.
My students have learned to be flexible, adapting each day to the challenges we face with online learning.
As our Covid-19 numbers drop and stabilize we hope to be face-to-face before the end of the third quarter. My students are excited to be able to have hands-on experiences again.
My Project
My students have been resilient throughout this Covid-19 pandemic. Although we are unsure when the students will return, the items that can be created on the Silhouette Cameo 4 machine can be used in school and at home.
The Silhouette Cameo 4 can make learning tools, student created arts and crafts, personalized items and more.
My students can create art pieces that can be turned into stickers, t-shirts, or even ornaments for gifts. The Silhouette Studio Design Store will allow me to find templates for a variety of learning tools such as puzzles or 3D models.
The Silhouette machine opens up many options for students to create for themselves and others. It will also allow me to personalize items for them so their items don't get mixed up as well as create incentive items to put in my class store.
