My Students

Help my students succeed. I need a paper shredder than can operate for a significant amount of time without shutting down. We work on functional vocational/life skills in my classroom and out in the community. Help my students succeed by staying on task with a shredder that will stay on task.

I teach high school students with Autism that are 15 to 21 years old.

Each student is unique in his/her own way. I have some students that can carry out full conversations with their peers and other students that are non-verbal. I have been teaching students with Autism for over four years now.

My Project

My hope is to prevent my students from being institutionalized. That is the most restrictive environment and limits their freedom/creativity. I would like to see my students hold functional jobs so they can be productive members of society. Identity theft protection is very important. My students can hold a meaningful job while protecting the privacy of others.

Having a workable shredder that will not shut down as well as oil to keep it working will eliminate some of the frustration and confusion my students feel.

My students will be very much appreciative for this tool. The shredder will not only help my students of today but my students of tomorrow as well.
