Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Big Post-It notes: These are likely used for brainstorming sessions, group discussions, or displaying important information on walls or boards for easy reference. Markers: Markers are essential for various tasks such as writing on whiteboards, creating posters, labeling materials, or for art projects. Crayons: Crayons are commonly used by younger students for drawing, coloring, and art projects. They offer a versatile medium for creative expression and fine motor skill development. Colored pencils: Colored pencils are similar to crayons but offer more precision and control. They are often used for coloring detailed illustrations, diagrams, or for shading and blending colors in art projects.

The items I am requesting will help my students show their knowledge of a skill or concept we are going over in class.

I want my classroom to be a place where students learn how to work as a team to create and finish projects. The posters will also help me create anchor charts to remind students of concepts in our classroom.

My students are being inspired to push themselves in displaying their knowledge. Having students share and discuss their learning will help with public speaking and confidence in what they are sharing.
