I think this project was well-named as it truly is magical what happens to children when allowed to create freely with materials that are easy to access and use. The colored tape is indispensable in allowing them the freedom to attach materials. The paint sets, after proper training on use and care, allow them to paint whenever they want, which is something these students rarely get to do. Liquid watercolors and proper watercolor paper are luxuries so this project allowed me to purchase these things for my kids and the rewards are endless!
