My Students

My first graders are inquisitive students. I teach all subjects with a researcher's workshop model. Some of them are English language learners and ESE students.

Asking questions and seeking answers leads them to invest in their own learning.

They are the future leaders of our country so I want them to understand the importance of being problem solvers.

My Project

The Samsung tablets will be used to document classroom projects with parents and the community. Additionally, individuals will use the tablets to create Flipgrid responses to work on their listening and speaking standards in all subject areas.

We want to share the spectacular events that are happening at school with caregivers because they are not allowed on campus currently because of COVID-19.

Through technology they will be able to visualize what their child is learning and accomplishing this school year. Students need opportunities to practice using tablets in meaningful ways. Their excitement is contagious when they know what they are doing in the classroom will be seen at home.
