The classroom is tile only so the area carpet will provide a comfortable gathering place as I read to them and when they select a book from the leveled library to independently read. They may also share a good book with a buddy. As a Reading Recovery trained teacher I desire each of my students to discover the joy of reading. The storage bins and hooks will allow students to easily select their favorite genres. The more they read the more they will succeed. Each student should be able to turn his or her dreams into reality with a solid foundation in literacy.
