Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This class has taken over my heart! They are overall eager to learn and push themselves harder every day. Their families have all experienced hardships, and the students know how to improve their own future by working hard today.
They lead me in their education and show me which paths they need to take.
Their vibrant personalities, creative minds, and perseverance make every day uniquely special. My students value their education because it gives them an opportunity to broaden their experiences and learn more about the world. They would be ecstatic if they got the opportunity to have a fun glow-themed test review classroom transformation!
My Project
The dreaded state testing is quickly approaching. As my students prepare for the science, math, and reading state tests they are exhausted from repetitive and traditional review.
I would love for my students to have a fun, engaging review experience through a glow/neon room transformation!
These materials would be used to decorate the room and create fun review activities to engage the students. For example, we would use the glow necklaces as rings to play ring toss on bottles that I have painted with glow paint! As students answer a question correctly, they get to toss the ring. That is just one of the many ideas I have prepared for this review month.
My students have no idea that this is coming. I plan to surprise them by setting up the classroom after school one day for them to walk into the next morning! I will reuse most of these materials for years to come, so your donations are reaching hundreds of students. Thank you for helping to make my students' education more engaging and FUN!
