My Students

My students are from inner-city, low-income homes. Their parents are immigrants and new to the language. They spend many hours in the school building and at after-school centers. Art is one of the only subjects that lets them explore themselves and communicate in a way where language isn't an issue.

My students are eager to learn, have a huge imagination, and plenty of creativity.

They are from many backgrounds. By learning about others through art, my students will get a clear idea of what being a part of a community is. Being exposed to as much as possible is so important.

My Project

My students have been busy bees as of late, trying to be the newest Picassos and Kandinskys. We have been searching online, for the best references and most helpful techniques to assist our big painting project. We have used all of our ink and are in need of some replacement consumables. Have you ever spent so much time finding the right image only to have the period end and not be able to save? Well we know your troubles. We have them too. Please help us build our data banks and save our picture references. We need INK. Its only a matter of time before you start searching us!
