My Students

The students in my classroom are ready to learn. They are growing up in a small farming community. Many of them compete in sports, but they also spend time helping family on the farm. My students are hard workers and always want to please their teacher.

The students in 6th grade have their basic supplies for the beginning of the school year, but as the year goes on they misplace them or break them.

Then they are asking to borrow supplies.

My Project

This document camera will help keep me from running around the room trying to show them instructions on the paper. I don't have to copy onto a clear sheet to display a worksheet on my overhead projector. I can set anything under the Elmo projector and it will projector on my board. I love the idea!

I would use this projector to display homework worksheets to go over the directions before they start.

I can pull up a picture of worksheets from a CD with my Math Series, but it takes my computer a while to pull it up and my students end up waiting for me to find it.
