This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Watching my students explore new materials, trying out different art techniques, and creating artwork is very fulfilling. My students are extremely talented, hard-workers that take pride in the artwork that they create. Unfortunately we do not have the best places in the school to display artwork for parents to see at events or to show off to other students and teachers throughout the day.
When students see their artwork displayed it helps to build confidence, self-esteem, and encourages students to continue trying their hardest.
These display panels will allow me to consistently display and show off artwork that my students create in class. I will be able to set up exhibits at after school events for parents and community members to experience as well.
