My Project

Every year, the gifted and advanced students at Meridian Ranch Elementary School have the opportunity to share their learning from the school year in our Gifted Expo Night. They have to find ways to share what they have learned; this culminates in various final products, including both digital and physical manifestations of their learning.

Therefore, physical materials are needed for some of our students; the cost of presentation boards as well as dioramas and models/sculptures can become quite costly both for families and for me, as their teacher.

My goal is for students to have available the basic needs required to build a final product that makes them proud. As my student population increases, so do the costs to support our various classroom learning experiences. I often use my own money to provide materials; even the smallest donation will help our students learn to be independent creators!!!
