This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a first year math teacher still trying to get materials to complete my math classroom, and I need your help! The highlighters on my wish list are to use for color coordinating during our notes and group work. Highlighters make it helpful to show how tackle a problem step by step. The colored paper is for students to use to create a fun project that relates to topics that we have covered in class, and will be posted on our classroom wall as visual aids and to make my class feel welcoming. Patty paper is also very useful for when students are learning how to rotate shapes on a coordinate plane. We are running low and could always use the extra patty paper.

I have a little over 200 students and it is really hard for me to keep these items in stock.

I currently have a couple classroom periods where there is a mix of students with special needs in a regular classroom. With your donation, you will be helping ALL students have all the materials necessary to be confident and creative learners in our math class.
