This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My smiling first graders are some of the hardest working kiddos! Many of my students face a lot of challenges both personally and academically, but you would never know it seeing how hard they work day in and day out.
Every student loves a great reward!
They love showing off how proud they are of what they have accomplished. In our classroom, we have reading stars. Each week the students earn a star for completing their reading for the week. Once they have earned a certain amount of stars, they are rewarded with a trip to the infamous treasure chest.
I am hoping with this project to fill up our treasure chest with some items that I know my students will love.
