My Project

Our students are creators at heart. They enjoy creating arts that tell stories. This year they are creating the script, melodies and lyrics, choreography, and. technical design for a musical. Post-pandemic, the student-created musical will be an annual project.

Students deserve to tell stories that resonate with their experiences.

The musical is our way of responding culturally to our students by allowing them to create stories that reflect their experiences and what they hope for in our world. The musical will impact our entire school community through our many performances and our documentation of our creative process.

This project aims to help students know their power to affect change in their community by telling unique stories from their diverse perspectives.
