Help me give my students a new, quieter, faster pencil sharpener, mounting tape that will actually hold our amazing anchor charts, and laminating pouches to laminate their work throughout the year.
My students come from various socioeconomic, race, religion, and cultural backgrounds. They are bright-eyed, eager, and excited about learning; but not all students learn in the same way. Third grade comes with its own stigma of "the dreaded tested grade". Together we will erase this reputation.
Curious, enthusiastic, competitive, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge; test or no test, they thrive on crushing personal goals as well as goals set for them.
My Project
Our pencil sharpener is on it's last leg. The loud, dull grinding is very distracting. We have made some amazing anchor charts this year and have no tape that will actually stick to the cinderblock walls.
The sharpener will ensure my students can use those strategies because they'll have a perfect point in which to do so.
