My Students

My students come from a close-knit community where education and family are valued above all. Their parents work hard to support their learning. Time outside of school is spent attending clubs and sports practices, working on their educational goals, and spending time with family.

As a group, these students are creative, fun-loving, kind, and motivated.

They continue to amaze me with their talents and insights both inside and outside of the classroom. We must do all that we can to support these future leaders.

My Project

My students need pencil sharpeners in order to complete their classroom assignments. Without a good pencil sharpener, we spend a lot of time just trying to get the old sharpeners in our classroom to work. This is time wasted that could be spent learning.

Sharp pencils are the most basic need of these fourth grade learners.

With a good pencil sharpener, learning time will be increased. Students will no longer spend time scrounging around for a sharp pencil, or trying to sharpen in a sharpener that damages their pencils in the process. Please help us fill our most basic need.
