My Project

My students are eager readers. They love to read fiction and nonfiction books. They love to share the information they have learned with their friends and family. This project would provide my students the opportunity to read books with their friends by having 2 books of the same title.

Reading with a friend is so exciting.

Students will be able to help each other with decoding and comprehension. The kids will be able to discuss the parts they believe are exciting, funny and even scary. Finally, students will be able to compare one book to another on a similar topic or series of books.
