This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, students in Drama 2 explored fashion design elements and are excited to take their studies a bit further--learning to sew and bring their designs to life!

The goal of this project is for students to learn basic hand sewing skills that they can then use to create simple garments for themselves and classmates.

These are skills they can use for the rest of their lives. How often have you needed to sew on a quick button, hem a pair of pants, or patch a hole in your jacket?

My students are motivated and looking forward to this project!
