My Project

The materials I am requesting are for my students, ranging from Pre-k to 8th grade! I am an Occupational Therapist, and I am trying to make my schools feel like home. I have been slowly adding to my resource library, but not fast enough! My main school is the elementary school. The younger students require more fine-motor activities to help with things like their handwriting (strength to grasp the pencil) and manipulating classroom tools and objects (scissors, glue, buttoning their coats!). My other 2 schools are middle schools. These older students, usually work in small groups, with the use of board games to work on their social-emotional skills, attention skills, planning, and organization.

These activities are a great way to get my students to be engaged in Occupational Therapy and also help to work on their goals.

Many of these resources will be used over and over for the years to come!
