Setting Up a New Learning Environment

Help me give my students an opportunity to start a new academic year with necessary items to set up our new learning space.

My Project

My students are excited to begin learning in our new classroom environment, and I am seeking support to help create a space where they can feel safe, engaged, and motivated to learn every day. I am requesting funding for a new classroom rug, along with vocabulary and reading resources specifically designed to support English learners. The rug will provide a welcoming gathering area where students can participate in read-alouds, small-group instruction and collaborative activities that build both academic and social skills.

Many of my students are developing their English language abilities while also learning grade-level content.

Because of this, access to high-quality vocabulary and reading materials is essential for their success. These resources will help students strengthen comprehension, expand academic vocabulary, improve communication skills, and build confidence in speaking and reading English. Interactive and visually engaging materials make learning more meaningful and accessible for all learners.
