This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My players do not play volleyball in the off season. Our demographic does not generally participate in club volleyball. I have gym time for Mustang’s volleyball team to practice in the off season, but not the equipment. In order to improve we need to practice with training balls that are lighter weight and make it easier to learn to pass and set and regular volleyballs which are essential to learning the game. Having equipment designated for the volleyball team will give us the opportunity to practice. We need the right equipment to allow us to spend more time playing together and practicing. This grant can help make that happen.
