Service Project

Help me give my students the opportunity to give back to their community by creating kits of crayons, books, and coloring books to donate to children in a hospital.

My Project

Performing a service project will allow students to develop critical thinking skills, gain real-world experience, and practice important habits like leadership. My students have big hearts, but not all are able to donate financially.

By donating to this project you will help students gain important life lessons while putting smiles on children's faces that are hospitalized in a children's hospital.

The crayons, coloring books and books will be used to create Happy Kits for children ages 1-8. Each kid that is hospitalized will receive a Happy Kit to try to make their stay a little more bearable. Students will have to sort and make each kit based on age group and calculate how many kits they can donate. Each student will also create a personalized card to go inside each kit.
