Sensory Well Being for Super Students!

Help me give my students a feeling of calmness, security, wellness, and peace with sensory tools such as fidgets and sensory sand.

My Project

Sensory tools are essential items to use during class activities to aid in students' sensory needs. We all have unique outlets that we resort to when seeking relief or comfort, especially during stressful situations such as test taking.

My students will be learning how to effectively use sensory tools, along with other coping strategies such as taking a deep breath while squeezing a stress ball.

Through using materials that support their coping skills in regard to social and emotional learning, along with their cognitive learning skills, I am better able, as a special education teacher, to aid my students with opportunities that will help them in these areas in school.
