As an occupational therapist, I work with the most amazing students. Each student is unique in their own way. Although all my students are amazing in so many ways, each student is working hard to be successful and independent during the school day! One of the main resources that they would benefit from are sensory tools that will be utilized for calming purposes as well as being utilized for focusing in the classroom! Please help me, help them reach their goals!!
My Project
As an occupational therapist, I work with the most amazing students. Each student is unique in their own way. Although all my students are amazing in so many ways, each student is working hard to be successful and independent during the school day! These sensory tools I am requesting are used for a variety of different reasons. The weighted tools will be used to help some of my students with autism calm down when they are “worked up” or seeking sensory input. Other tools like seat cushions or other fidgets will help other students focus in the classroom! Please help me to help my students reach their goals!! Thank you for all your help!!
