Sensory Tools for Special Ed Students

My Project

Sensory tools benefit elementary special education students in many ways. They help to improve focus and attention(ie: fidget toys, stress balls, adaptive seating), regulate emotions (ie: weighted blankets, sensory bottles)especially with students who experience sensory overload, provide enhanced engagement and learning(ie: textured materials, sensory bins), and tolls can also help to develop fine motor skills(manipulative toys, playdoh). These are just a few examples of how sensory tools can benefit elementary students. It is important to note that the specific benefits may vary depending on the individual needs and preferences of each individual student.
