My Project

Kindergarten is an exciting place! We have a variety of learners who are so excited to be at school for the first time. This year I have several students in my classroom that have Autism.

My sweet, autistic students are easily overstimulated and I want to help them by providing a calming environment with sensory items.

This project has some of their favorite sensory toys, some curtains to help provide a calming environment, and a cushion that they can sit on when they need to. The materials will help my students self regulate and allow them to learn in the classroom.
