My Students
My students are 7th grade SPED Math Resource students. They are eager to learn and want to be community contributors. My students are from Hawaii and has been online distance learning for an entire year. They are all excited to return to their classroom.
My Project

The population in my class are Gen Ed and SPED.
The emphasis in my Advisory class are on building relationships with their peers. I would love to have my SPED students to have sensory items and art crafts.
My class can be challenging because of Covid, my students are all wearing masks. Sped students have difficulty with social cues which may leave them anxious and overwhelmed. In addition, having students wearing masks, SPED students have challenges when trying to understand what their peers are saying.
As a result, I am interested in getting sensory items and art craft for my class. The sensory items would be a huge benefit for my Advisory class.
