I am a SPED Resource teacher from Hawaii. Last year, my students were out of school for an entire year due to Covid 19. This year, my students are returning to class. My students are eager to learn and I want to provide them the best learning practices. I am interested in giving my students math manipulatives. Instead of worksheets, my students will be able to use manipulatives to connect abstract math concepts. Concrete materials, like algebra tiles, snap cubes and coloured rods can help students at all grade levels improve their mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
