This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The use of sensory tables is the one of the most effective ways for Pre-K students to learn. Sensory tables are so important in early development. When students can explore objects, letters, bugs, dirt, plants, water, it is the best way for them to really understand what they are learning about.
Students will use the sensory tables to learn about insects and bugs while digging in potting soil.
Students will use sensory tables to explore different clothing materials. Students will use sensory tables to learn about parts of tree or plants. Students love to find letters in sensory tables to help with literacy.
The possibility are endless and I can't wait to see what my students want to use their senses to explore.
