My Project

I plan to improve my special needs students' math skills with emphasis on use of the 10-frame and hundred charts to support addition and subtraction. We will enjoy teacher-led genre writing activities with use of chart paper and journals, and will improve reading skills with phonics flip books. Students will be rewarded for their hard work with awesome stickers and stamps!

My special needs students need many engaging visuals and sensory supports to get excited about learning.

With colorful writing tools and chart paper, fun learning manipulatives with corresponding pictures, and hands-on pop-it and magnetic math tools, students will love learning new academic content across reading, math, and writing lessons.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
