Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Everybody can learn, just not always in the same way. Some need quiet, some need movement, some need music, and some need a combination of things. My job is to figure out what my children need to order to learn and help them be successful. The noise reducing headphones will help those that need the calm and quiet to either process as they play or to self regulate. Sensory items will provide resistance for those that need it, movement, and the ability to attend at tasks with the other children.

If the child is not understanding what you are teaching, teach it differently.

Gone are the days of one size fits all teaching. Having the tools to allow children to learn in the way they need helps them to have confidence, self esteem, build friendships, and gain the knowledge to progress forward. This is what each child deserves.
