My Students
My school is a K-12 Charter school located outside of Charleston, South Carolina. Our 6th and 8th Grade classes are filled with students from all different backgrounds and varying abilities. Our 6th and 8th Grade students are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and love adventures. They love to conduct experiments, create, and learn as much as they can. My hope is to provide our students with all the lab supplies they need to keep their engagement and instill a love of science in them! Our Middle School Team and Project -Based school strives to make our students' experiences something meaningful that they will remember forever.
Our school is committed to providing all students a safe and exceptional academic environment that cultivates independent learning, character enrichment, and regional awareness while developing accountable leaders, community stewards, and diverse thinkers through project-based experiences.
My Project
Middle school students will use art and craft supplies to explore science on a sensory level. Drawing, modeling and experimenting helps students learn kinesthetically. It is shown that hand-on exploration aids in student understanding of science concepts! Students will use coloring supplies to illustrate vocabulary in their Interactive Notebooks. Students will use lab supplies to directly explore science concepts. Students will use paint and modeling supplies to model what they are learning. Please help our students learn more effectively by providing these craft and art supplies! You will benefit almost 90 middle school students if you donate to this cause!
