My students are a young group of exceptional learners, impacted by various intellectual and developmental disabilities. They are a group of 7 students with various strengths and academic abilities.
Many of my students have Autism and have many sensory needs, having tactile learning materials will make learning fun and meaning for them!
Having a sensory table in our room, will make for additional opportunities for my students to get their sensory needs met, as well as partake in meaningful play.
I am a life skills teachers in a title one school. My students all have various disabilities. More than half of my class has Autism Spectrum Disorder and have various sensory needs. Many of my students need daily sensory breaks and various sensory input activities.
By providing my students with a various sensory toys, like sensory beads and kinetic sand my students can have fun alternatives to getting these sensory needs met.
I will use the water beads and kinetic sand in my sensory table.
The sequin blanket is great for my students who need weight and comfort of a blanket, and are also seeking tactile input.
