This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a sweet class of pre-k children with special needs, blended with VPK children. I am requesting sensory items for my students to use when they arrive at school each day. The dolls and magnetic toys will be used in our play centers to help with pretend play.
My students love to learn through play.
They learn important skills like sharing and taking turns. My students love to help their peers and model how to play with the toys. I am in need of new dolls to replace our dolls who have been well loved for the last eight years.
The magnetic toys are great for sparking their imagination. They can create any type of animal or vehicle with them. The toys promote language and gets my students excited to talk about what they created.
