My Project

I will be getting a new classroom this fall. This room is full of OLD furniture that has seen better days. This room is going to be used for autistic students. I want it to be a safe, calming room where they can express themselves.

The four bouncy chairs will meet their need for movement without looking like a "special" chair.

I feel that at this age, it is very important that their self-confidence be boosted as much as possible. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them.
