Sensory Fun in Social Work!

Help me give my students a play therapy experience in the school setting! By having a covered sensory station, we will be able to process emotions and explore our feelings while containing the mess!

My Project

My students are bright, caring, and empathetic to others. They have big feelings and sometimes can be overwhelmed by them. Social work gives them a safe place to explore their feelings, and make sense of their experiences. Having a dedicated sensory space will give them the opportunity to engage in play therapy while at school

We have a small plastic storage bin we use for sensory play therapy right now, but the mess we make is LARGE (sorry custodians!).

Having a dedicated covered bin would allow us to have easy access to materials and make setting up and cleaning up so much easier!
