Help me give my students opportunities for sensory exploration in my self contained classroom.

My Project

I recently took over a special education classroom that is almost completely self-contained. I have 8 students. A majority of my students are diagnosed with autism and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

I have found that 100% of my students are sensory seeking all the time.

They love my makeshift sensory items. However, with funding for this project the options are limitless.

My students will be able to safely explore their senses inside the classroom together. I will be able to have a whole-group sensory approach with the sensory table bin and filler.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
