Sensory Driven Toys

Help me give my students some sensory driven toys to keep at their desk.

My Project

My classroom is unique in the sense that my students are extremely sensory-driven. Some students like to manipulate things with their hands - different textures. Some students like to look at different patterns, lights, etc. Some students thrive on getting up out of their seats for some movement. Some students like to put items in their mouth and chew.

My goal for this project is to have my students be able to have sensory driven toys.

One student, in particular, is extremely sensory seeking. My goal is to take some of these toys, with loops, and tie them to a rope & tie it under his desk. This will allow him to have multiple sensory materials all day. Since he is so sensory seeking, he can be rough - so tying this to a rope will maintain the integrity of our toys also!
