Help me give my students fidget toys, sensory toys, bracelets, and slime for our weekly treasure box in the classroom.

My Project

The items in my project will be used for incentives in our classroom store.

Our classroom store has helped tremendously by incentivizing positive and appropriate behavior, hard work, respect, kindness, and responsibility.

My students know that they must work towards the store's items. These items will encourage students to try their best and work hard throughout the day. Items like bracelets, slime, fidget toys, and sensory toys will promote an encouraging incentive to help students with their daily assignments.

Each day they have the opportunity to get dojo points for demonstrating a range of values such as responsibility, integrity, respect, reading, teamwork, and much more! Each item in the store has a different ticket value. Every Friday, students can cash in their tickets for items from the store or save and roll over their tickets for the following week.

This system has been very successful with my class; my students love shopping at the store! This system also has encouraged some basic math skills with counting- adding, and subtracting.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
