My Project

This is my first year as a school counselor. I became passionate about the field of school counseling after witnessing the need for social emotional supports within schools. Many students do not have the skills to express and deal with big emotions. Teaching them these skills is vital towards ensuring good mental health.

It is important that students have tools readily available to assist them in regulation, when their emotions do get big.

This is one of the main reasons I have started this DonorsChoose.org project, to add to my calm down tools. Thank you in advance for supporting our counseling program!
