My Project

Students will be able to use their tactile learning with these sensory bins.

Because Kinetic Sand can be squeezed it provides deep pressure, which is a form of tactile input that is calming and organizing to the body.

This is especially helpful for those who are sensory seekers! It is an easy project that allows kids to explore their senses, build fine motor skills, and strengthen their imaginative play muscles.

It is safe for children and has been shown to boost cognitive function and social skills. Since sand can be molded into various forms, playing with it has improved one’s ability to focus, enhance hand-eye coordination, and encourage one’s creative side. In a time when children are less active than ever, it’s great when they find something fun to do that also positively impacts their growth and development.
