Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have many students who need the release that a fidget or squishy provides. They can help with focus and emotional management. I have had many that have gone missing over the course of the school year, but that just shows that students need them! I am happy to keep providing them to anyone who needs or wants one.

I work as a school social worker in a Title 1 school, and parents are not in a position to buy them for their children.

While these might seem like "toys," they are actually a wonderful self-regulation strategy.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
