My Students

Our school is located in Wilson, North Carolina. My students are hard-working and goal-oriented. Every day we come into class ready to work and grow together! Since we "team teach" in 4th grade I get not just one classroom of students but two! This year I am teaching Math and Science to our students. We spend a lot of time working with partners and in groups. I like them to be be actively engaged in our work at all times!

My Project

In our classroom, we meet in small groups often for individualize lessons, differentiation, extensions, and basic instruction. Currently, the students sit in regular seats and there is very limited space. Additionally, the chairs we have are cumbersome and often distract the students during our time together.

Having these stools would not only give the room a wonderful facelift, but would also allow for more students to sit in with me and remain focused on lessons for small group instruction!

The students also would be able to meet with partners at a comfortable space that is perfect for learning. Please help our students!
