Help me give my students sensory tools to build nerve connections in their brain's pathways, which will lead to their ability to complete more complex learning tasks.
Many of my students are having their very first experience with school in the walls of my classroom. This is a great opportunity to help them fall in love with learning but it also places a lot of pressure on me financially. All of the students in my classroom have at least one parent in the military. Please help me provide the very best learning opportunities for ALL of the students in my classroom, especially when their families are sacrificing so much for our country.
My Project
Research shows that sensory play builds nerve connections in the brain's pathways, which lead to the child's ability to complete more complex learning tasks (Educational Playcare). The Sensory Tubs will provide my students with sensory play while incorporating kindergarten learning standards with letters, numbers, and shapes. Kindergarteners love puzzles and the tactile alphabet puzzle will challenge them to think in multiple ways with only one tool!
It's no secret that it can be difficult for students to sit and focus even for a short period of time.
The wobble seats will allow my students to have a flexible seating option. I love incorporating hands-on materials in my classroom but students still need to practice foundational writing skills. The Reusable Write and Wipe Pockets will provide the students with additional practice while saving paper! I can't wait to help my students grow and fall in love with learning with these amazing tools! The best part about these tools is that they can be used for many classes in the future!
