It has been proven that students learn best by doing and my students are mostly tactile and kinesthetic learners. I strive to provide my students with engaging and interactive learning experiences daily. They will use these tools to have hands-on learning experiences to gain foundational skills in reading and math. We will use these tools in small groups and during centers. Wikki Sticks and Tactile cards will help them master their letters and numbers in no time! Once they master these basics they will be able to do incredible things like reading and adding. The best part about teaching kindergarten is watching how much they grow throughout the year and I know these tools will be instrumental to their learning.
