Help me give my students supplies to spring into action, beautify their school, and complete their graduation project including paint, primer, and garden tool sets.
Seniors are now required to complete a graduation product before tossing their caps and taking photos in their gowns. One component is to provide community service and improvement. And there is no better place to start than your school. Here at SAC, the walls are a bland yellow, the exterior an uninviting facade of brick. Everyday, students walk past empty flower pots into even emptier halls.
It's proven that walking into a beautiful environment increases students' overall mood and performance, and that is what the seniors want to create for future classes.
The goal is to paint the flower pots that line our school building with our colors and slogan, so everyone knows that SAC is a beautiful, supportive place; plant hardy rose bushes to give everyone in the community a chance to stop and smell the flowers.
The supplies selected will enable the seniors to complete the project and showcase their pride in SAC for years to come! The primer and sealer will keep the pots vibrant and withstand the rain, snow, and dirt. Hardy rose bushes will grow with little help and return year after year, growing bigger each season. One day, they all will be able to show their children the results of their project and clip a rose as a memento.
