This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year's Class of 2023 has been a unique one. They've experienced a long and challenging 4 years, with pandemic-related disruptions, sudden shift to remote learning, followed again by a readjustment to in-person classes. Our classes are co-taught settings comprised of students who come from a range of backgrounds and abilities. If there is one word that the seniors graduating in 2023 have shown, it is resiliency. It has been rewarding teaching these resilient students and we would love to give them a small but unique gift commemorating this special and significant milestone of their lives. As they embark onto the next chapter of their journey, whether pursuing college, attending trade school, or acquiring certifications for their chosen fields, we hope to celebrate the seniors' successes and inspire them as the next generation of change-makers in our society!
