This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to provide the senior track and field athletes with a gift. They work hard all season and deserve a parting gift as they attend college next year. Each athlete has shown up every day no matter what the conditions are and works hard to achieve their goals. In addition our school doesn't have it's own track. This means the athletes have to travel every day 30 minutes to and from practice. This cuts time out of their practices. Sometimes the athletes have to practice later than normal due to traveling and sharing a track.
