My Students
Here at my school the kids are exceptionally special. They are hard workers and come to school with the desire to learn and graduate. This school is special because it gives the kids a second chance to put themselves on the right path and graduate. I have noticed that even though these kids have been through so much, they use their struggles as a motivator to keep going. After failing and falling behind, they put themselves in a position to not fail again. Additionally I have witnessed kids become more interested in books that they see themselves in. Making connections is a huge part of their learning!
These kids truly have a desire to learn.
My fun loving kids are always so inquisitive and look for answers in their lives through literature. I love having them around because they keep me on my toes, constantly searching for something new to present to them.
My Project
With the books purchased, students will cultivate an active interest in the world around them and find their place in it. they will be exposed to issues and begin to survey these issues that are prevalent in their lives.

And why can’t we change it? And then they do
